January 1, 2010 - I'm having link problems with my Photobucket videos - I hope to have this corrected soon.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so a video must be worth ten thousand words. Here are some videos of the ThirdHand and ThreeFinger in action. They average 25 seconds in length, and have a jazzy sound track.

This first video shows a ThirdHand lifting a standard style of cooking grate. It will work on most standard cooking grates.
This video shows a ThirdHand lifting a large cast iron grate. These grates are heavy, but the ThirdHand handles it with ease
If you have a small or medium sized cast iron grate, you need a ThreeFinger grate lifting and hanging tool. The narrower slots in the grate require a tool with a shorter handle and bobbed forks. Here is a ThreeFinger lifting a small cast iron grate.
In addition to lifting and hanging, both the ThirdHand and ThreeFinger tools can be used to rotate a cooking grate. This is especially handy for balancing out the doneness during a cook. Often, just rotating your grate will move food in or out of the hotter zone of your fire. In this video, a ThirdHand is shown rotating an 18" stainless steel grate which is on the Adjustable Rig, both of these speciality items are available from The Ceramic Grill Store.com
